Man After God's HeartPastor Jerry Jackson is a native of Detroit, Michigan and is the son of Dennis and Alice Jackson. Pastor Jackson is man after God's own heart. He has a love for God and a desire to see lost souls saved. Pastor Jackson gave his heart to the Lord on March 1, 1979. Pastor Jackson was filled with the Holy Ghost and called to the ministry between August and September of 1979. He received his training and teaching under the late Bishop Floyd A. Walls Sr. (Bishop of the Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Canada)In 1983, Pastor Jackson was ordained elder in the Church of God in Christ by Bishop Walls and Bishop Harrison (C.O.G.I.C. Bishop of the Canadian Jurisdiction). Pastor Jackson was, during that time, involved in prison ministry and evangelistic team outreach. Faithfully serving, Pastor Jackson served as the assistant pastor at the Greater Shiloh Church of God in Christ from 1996 through 2005 until the Lord called him to pastor. Pastor Jackson is a man after God’s heart; he is a worshiper and loves to praise God. Pastor Jackson has a mighty testimony of where the Lord has brought him from, and through this testimony, he is able to connect with people on a more intimate and personal level. Pastor Jackson reminds the members of ALM to follow him as he follows Christ. Pastor Jackson and Lady Deborah Jackson have been married for over 30 years; they are both blessed to be parents and grandparents. The love that they display for their family is the love that Christ showed toward the church.

An Angel from Heaven Lady Deborah Jackson is more than just our Pastor's wife. She's a Godly and God-fearing woman with such a sweet and warm spirit. She's always encouraging her spiritual daughters with that BIG smile on her face. And she remains humble, loving, caring, and knows her place in ministry. She does not need to be called, "First Lady", "Evangelist", or "Psalmist" because she knows what God calls her. She always has just right the right words and spirit for each person she greets. She's such a lady, everyone's friend, and a spiritual mother like none other. She serves ALM with love and grace from within. She carries our burdens, she prays for us, and sometimes she cries for us. When she's at ALM she walks up the aisle, she stops and talks to everyone that she can. Even when Lady Jackson is tired, she puts her ministry first. She shares in the vision her husband, our Pastor. She has to sacrifice our Pastor for the entire ministry and Christian community. She humbly accepts his dedication and anointing. Lady Jackson is one of the greatest examples of what a “Lady of God” should be. We thank God for our Lady Jackson: An Angel from Heaven. |
